Technical Architect - GBP50-60k p/a + benefits - West Sussex - Permanent - Hyper-V/AD/SAN

DGH are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced Technical Architect to join their Infrastructure team based in West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise solutions in line with the companies IT strategy.

The Technical Architect will be joining a small (4 Architects), strong team that engages directly with wider IT support areas, business sponsors and frequently directly with Clients.

Core Responsibilities
*Identify the organisation's architectural needs and ascertain how these fit in the wider IT Strategy
*Act as a key resource in the project life cycle from driving the initiation and design, to overseeing the implementation.
*Utilise cost benefit analysis and research to identify most cost effective/efficient IT products to implement

The Technical Architect should be keen to utilise their in depth technical skills to design robust and innovative solutions in line with the group IT strategy

Essential Technical Knowledge
*Virtualisation - Hyper-V
*SAN Storage - (HP 3PAR - Preferred)
*Active Directory
*Windows Server 2008/2012
*Good knowledge of system centre suite (SCCM)
*PowerShell Scripting

Desirable understanding of:
*Networking technologies (Cisco/Checkpoint/Juniper)
*IT security principles and accreditations (ISO27001)

This role may require some travel to other UK based sites within the company
*Security clearances will be required for the role*
