UI Developer Web (Senior)

UI Developer/Senior Web Developer (Agile JavaScript User Interface). Opportunity to work on a leading website/mobile app used by millions of people every month to make savings across a wide range of services.

As a Senior UI Developer you will help continue to evolve the platform architecture, updating and expanding the current technology stack (Backbone.js, Jasmine/Karma, Smarty, Nightwatch.js and TeamCity). You'll work with other senior engineers and business stakeholders to plan and deliver both product and technical roadmaps; utilising your knowledge of page speed metrics and performance tools to build intuitive interfaces with optimised in-browser performance to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Requirements:
*Experience of planning and delivering product and technical roadmaps
*Thorough understanding of speed metrics and performance tools
*Deep knowledge of different browsers functionality and how to get the most out of them
*Experience with JavaScript frameworks
*Experience with multiple web stacks (Node.js, Python, PHP)
*Advocate of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration
*Strong communication skills
*Desirable: exposure to Docker/DevOps related tools, contributions to Open Source software projects
