Digital Online Sales Manager


The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for driving the online sales strategy using a variety of marketing techniques. The role will be very hands on across all digital and E-commerce channels; social, display, retargeting, PPC and email marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced online sales organisation.

  • Drive sales from the digital sales customers to GBP1M a month.
  • Trade with an average of 2,000 customers a month via our website
  • Ensure all customers aligned to the digital sales team transact 100% of their business online.
  • Develop and implement the Digital Marketing Strategy - acquisition and retention.
  • Drive the post PO functionalities of the website.
  • Drive direct sales via the E-commerce platform using digital channels.
  • Increase AOP by implementing digital cross-selling techniques.
  • Management of the digital fulfilment team; including phone support.
  • Management of remarketing/Display, SEO and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Ensure customers have an outstanding experience using our website
  • Understand how to infiltrate key online conversation to drive web sales.
  • Map out and optimise on and offline customer journeys
  • Working with marketing to create campaigns
  • Develop the content and SEO strategy to drive digital traffic and E-commerce sales growth
  • Working across the business to plan and schedule seasonal/yearly product launches.
  • Create content across all social media channels, display ads and optimizing paid social campaigns
  • Analyse competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Create weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs for digital channels.
  • Research new and expanding markets/influencer's in order to increase exposure.

Essential Skills

  • Must have marketing experience in an E-commerce/online sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Line management experience is preferred.
