SmithCorp are currently recruiting for Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our well established, growing business. Since opening in 2004 as one single recruitment brand, we now have a further 5 successful brands based across 4 offices - Bristol (Clifton & Portishead) London (Paddington) and Cornwall (Truro).

We are a market leading, specialist, recruitment agency boasting an impressive reputation in the Education & Engineering/Manufacturing sectors.

What the role entails

As a business to business sales career you will be working in a fast paced, target driven environment surrounded by like minded individuals who want to work hard, compete, progress and earn unrivalled, uncapped commission based on your own performance.

Typical Duties Include:

• Business Development building and maintaining professional relationships

• Lead generation

• Negotiating fees and salaries

• Candidate resourcing and headhunting

• Networking, advertising and networking

What we require from a trainee consultant

• Degree educated (2:2 or above) or a strong background in sales with a good academic background

• Competitive nature

• Self motivation and a high desire to achieve

• Confidence with a resilient nature

What we offer a trainee consultant

• Base salary + uncapped commission

Realistically you will earn between GBP25-30k in your first 12 months with us - this will also include a GBP3k rise to your basic salary as you're promoted from a trainee to a consultant. Within 18 months here, you should be on target to earn GBP40k+ and within four years, you will be earning in excess of GBP80k+. Many top consultants in the company earn a six figure salary however there is no limit on your earnings and we have a number of consultants who have earned over GBP45K in their first year at SmithCorp - what you put in here is what you will get out!

You will be assigned a mentor on your first day with us and have regular meetings with them ensuring your learning of our recruitment processes and your market knowledge is fully covered.
