An opportunity has arisen for a Finance / Administration / Accounts Assistant in a growing, forward thinking IT consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress a career within accounts / administration and assist in providing support in all aspects of financial control and business administration.

You will assist with the daily credit control and sales ledger activity along with providing administrative support to the business. The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of Sage 50 and excel.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

- Monitoring of debtor accounts and pro-active collection of payments
- Raising invoices/credit notes and input on excel and Sage 50
- Assistant to Finance Manager
- You will be able to build relationships with clients and suppliers
- Administrative back up and customer service
- You will have an excellent, confident telephone manner
- High level of attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally studying for an accountancy qualification or qualified to AAT level but not limited to

Immediate start, salary £18,000
