A leading Hydraulic Equipment Supermarket in Leeds is currently recruiting for a sales-focused individual to join their growing team as an Internal Sales and Business Development Coordinator.

They have been distributing hydraulic components for 50 years in with branches in Leeds, Durham Gloucester and Birmingham. Industry sectors served are vast from small projects to large power units' specifications.

The role of Internal Sales and Business Development Co-ordinator will require you to have or develop a good knowledge of the principles of hydraulics and a technical background to support the process. The successful candidate will be provided with the ongoing training and development required to ensure that they will be equipped to fully support the external sales effort, existing and prospect customers and drive increased revenue for the division. This will require (outgoing) proactivity and also some external sales visits.

Prior knowledge of the fluid power industry or holding an engineering qualification will be preferred.

The essential responsibilities and attributes required for consideration for both roles are:

- Able to work under pressure, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved at all times.
- Technical Understanding and experience
- Good telephone skills and sales ability
- Able to show enthusiasm for business development, including lead nurturing and sales development.
- Willing to work in any area of the business that can benefit the Group as required.
- Able to work with suppliers and negotiate special pricing.
- Proactive work chasing quotations and account management.
- Working with different systems processing orders and updating CRM system

It is a 40 hour week with usual working hours of 8:30-5pm.
