Weaving Technician

This leading supplier of engineered textile solutions is currently looking for a highly skilled Weaving Technician (Loom Overlooker) to relocate to Devon on a permanent basis.

Ideal applicants should demonstrate a sound working knowledge of woven fabric production, and have participated in a Textile Technician development programme. Mechanical knowledge of loom construction and operation is also essential, because loom setups against technical specifications are a key requirement of the role.

The ability to deliver improvements, solve problems & oversee Weaving activities would also be an advantage. Experience of running Vamatex, Itema, Dornier & Picanol rapier looms is preferred, but candidates with Airjet experience (Picanol and Dornier) will also be considered.
