We are a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

We are currently recruiting to the following position:
Internal Verifier - Level 2 Media Make up
Casual Contract up to 30 hours a year
Up to £19.12 per hour
A vacancy has arisen for a qualified Internal Verifier within the Hairdressing and Beauty Department to undertake the Quality Assurance for the media make up side of the Level 2 Hair and Media Make up course. You will be responsible for managing the quality assurance of provision and managing, supporting and developing assessors and verification of assessments.
To be successful, you will be highly motivated, work well in a team and be committed to supporting and developing assessors.
Applicants should have experience of assessing and undertaking internal verification in media make up , hold relevant occupational qualifications, and have knowledge of the Level 2 Hair and Media Make up course. Applicants should hold their A1and V1 Awards (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification .
You must be IT literate. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
