Due to this expansion, they are looking to expand their IT teams based in their Bolton office.

The Candidate
Manual and Automated Tester with experience of web testing automated tools such as Selenium is required by the developer teams. You would have experience of testing web solutions, testing web technologies and creating SQL queries to interrogate the database. If you have experience of mobile application testing (iOS and Android) on devices or emulators then this would be a bonus.

Ideally, you would have worked in an Agile / SCRUM environment and have experience of working with Development teams to test applications. Any experience of working in a C# .NET environment would be a bonus. Being a self-starter you would enjoy working with the teams to develop/ drive improvements testing their applications.

Essential Qualities
- 2+ years manual and automated testing experience
- Deep knowledge of web or desktop application working environments
- Preparing test scripts /test data for both manual and automated testing
- Experience with Automated Testing frameworks
- Can prove understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Good knowledge of various SDLC models (V-shape, SCRUM, Rapid Application Development)
- Good understanding of various test case design techniques
- Should have good understanding of various Test and Defect Management tools
- Sufficient expertise with Windows to setup and perform functional testing
- Practical and systematic approach to testing;
- Experience working in a cross-functional agile software team
- Bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Testing web sites, web services, Windows applications
- Experience in the testing of web based applications and across multi-browser/Operating systems
