Trainee/ Part Qualified Management Accountant

One of Hull's most successful manufacturing companies is recruiting a trainee/ part-qualified management accountant to join one of their subsidiary businesses in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that will support you with passing your accounting qualification, along with actively developing your finance experience. The business boasts a substantial client base, both here and overseas, and can offer great opportunities for career progression as you grow and develop as an accountant.

Your new role
Reporting to an experienced management accountant and working closely with the financial controller and operations team, your duties will include: the production of weekly flash profit & loss; the production of monthly profit & loss and balance sheet for the business, monitoring of cash flows, detailed business analysis and monitoring of KPI's; the production and analysis of costings, and various other ad hoc projects.

What you will need to succeed
You will be studying the early stages of your CIMA accounting qualification and will already have gained some experience of working in management accounts. You will possess good interpersonal skills, excellent IT skills, and the drive and determination required to qualify as an accountant.

What you will get in return
You will be offered a competitive starting salary in the region of £25,000 per annum, which will be regularly reviewed in the future as you progress and gain further experience.

You will benefit from a full study package, including an additional days holiday for each exam that you sit.

After a qualifying period you will also be entitled to join the company pension and bonus schemes.
