Interested in working in care and want to make a positive difference to someone's life? We are looking for Relief Carers to work with us, each will be assigned to an area within North Somerset. Some of the areas we are looking to fill are Portishead, Weston, Clevedon or Worle.
Within this role you will deliver person-centred personal and practical care needs to customers in their own homes, to enable customers to remain living as independently as possible.
A Relief Carer works flexibly to cover planned holidays where required to help meet service demand across North Somerset. Ideal candidates will have previous experience of working within a care environment and be able to work to a high level of professional standards.
This role is guaranteed 37.5 hours per week, and comes with a competitive salary which starts from £15,892 per annum, 40p per mile travelled, holiday and sick pay, and we will provide you with a uniform.
From your first day we will provide you with a fully-paid induction, shadowing and on the job training. Following your induction period, we will continue to support you in your development and growing skills set, including mentoring and guidance from our dedicated Senior Carers and Team Leaders, and the range of different training programmes available including passing a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
You must have a full driving licence with access to transport. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, paid for by Alliance Living Care.
