PERMANENT FULL TIME

January 2017 or earlier

Arnold Hill Academy is becoming an inspirational place to work. The academy campus is located in a pleasant, suburban area of Nottingham and is undergoing substantial environmental development, including a brand new building, which provides an atmosphere extremely conducive to learning. All our staff are aspirational for themselves and their pupils. Results are showing an upward trend in both GCSE and at A level.

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated teacher of English who has the ability to push the boundaries of Learning and Teaching. The ideal candidate will be able to operate within a dynamic and forward thinking team who are focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-19 age range.

We are happy to hear from experienced and newly qualified teachers. The important thing is that you have a passion for English.

Arnold Hill Academy is part of The Trent Academies Group which includes Rushcliffe School, West Bridgford and The Farnborough Academy in Clifton.  This will in time provide fantastic opportunities for teachers to develop their practice and skills within schools becoming part of the Group.

We offer a full induction programme, excellent preparation for the next stage of your career and a rich menu of extra-curricular activities. The English Faculty is vibrant and extremely successful at ensuring that students make Outstanding Progress.

We are fully committed to fostering a love of English in all pupils and certainly play a significant part in ensuring that ‘Everyone is given the chance to shine brightly.'
