School Business Manager 

38 hours per week, 41 weeks per annum
Salary Grade G Salary Range: £28,203-£30,480

The Governing Body of Knowle Primary School are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced School Business Manager.

We welcome applications from candidates who are creative, innovative and forward thinking with a clear vision for school improvement.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team of Knowle Primary and help to lead us through the MAT agenda. You will be responsible for the Financial Resource Management, Administration Management, Management Information, ICT/Human Resource Management, Facility & Property Management and the Health & Safety Management of the School. Knowledge and experience of school MIS systems and financial systems within schools is essential, as well as having all round competency in ICT.

You will need to have skills of managing people in the office and working closely with staff. You will be responsible for the Performance Management of all staff, as outlined in the job description, as line manager.

The successful candidate will:
 

  • Ideally have a relevant professional or business qualification in business administration
  • Have relevant financial, administrative, personnel and health and safety experience.
  • Have excellent leadership and management skills including high level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to plan and implement change, in accordance with the school development plan.
