The Modern Apprenticeship (MA) role will incorporate service areas including Library, Community Centre and Council Information Services.
Reporting to the Team Manager the MA will work as part of a team in the delivery of first-class customer service. Day to day support will be provided by a named mentor. The team provides a full range of partnership centre functions that includes support to the libraries, front-of-house reception, floor-walking tasks, community centre duties and Customer Information Services enquiries.
It is expected that the applicant will complete the MA in Customer Services and should be able to demonstrate their ability to achieve this level. The successful candidate will therefore have achieved Standard Grade level 3 or above in Maths, English or relevant subjects or be able to demonstrate a comparable level of knowledge and expertise in this type of work through training programmes and initiatives e.g. Skills Training Programme.
