Independent Clinical Services is one of the UKs leading healthcare staffing providers. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Payroll administrator to join our finance team based within our Bristol offices.

The Role

Reporting to the manager the Senior Payroll Administrator will assist in providing an accurate, efficient payroll service, ensuring that proper procedures and controls are being followed, timescales and deadlines are met.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager and Team Leader with ad hoc assignments.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure any queries that arise from a timesheet or a query by telephone, fax, e-mail, online correspondence or via other departments are resolved efficiently and promptly, ensuring the call logging database is kept up to date
- Liaise with other departments to ensure any queries that may arise from a timesheet or any other means are resolved promptly and that our database is kept up to date
- Ensure any tax forms/enquiries including statutory payments together with any changes in nurse details are processed promptly
- Assist with the administration of the auto enrolment pension scheme.
- Ensure payroll reference queries are dealt with in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that correcting credit notes, insofar as nurse pay is impacted, are raised and processed in a timely fashion.
- Provide support and guidance to Payroll Administrators in the team and be a point of escalation for any queries they are unable to resolve.
- Other ad hoc support to Payroll Team Leader and Payroll Manager.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a similar position - experience of working within payroll is essential. You will need to possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships. Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, word and outlook are essential.
