My client is a well-established, market leader in the supply of specialist building products in to the construction sector in the UK and Globally. My client has seen remarkable year on year growth and as a result, has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join their successful team.

Main Responsibilities

• The main focus of the role is to develop the company business through leading the Field Sales Managers as well as achieving personal targets by sales into Contractors and Merchants, and to contribute to shaping and delivering integrated solutions to maximise long-term growth opportunities.
• You will be expected to identify and win new business across the above sectors and maintain a vibrant pipeline of forward business.
• Your target for this role will be staggered and you will receive excellent support from the business in terms of qualified leads and marketing support.
• You will be required to visit clients to discuss specification orders etc. in the local area, liaising with the Regional Sales Director, Branch Management and Manufacturers.
• Manage 5 Field Sales Managers across the region.
The Requirements:

• You should have experience and knowledge within the Construction industry (ideally Roofing). It is necessary to have experience of dealing with Contractors and Merchants.
• A technical competency ability into a sales environment is essential, a bespoke engineered solution which ensures results via specification.
• Display management competencies and have experience successfully managing a sales team.
• An excellent relationship builder.
• You should be a proficient presenter using PowerPoint and be comfortable and competent negotiating at board level.
• Have sound analytical capabilities combined with acute attention to detail and planning.
• Be able to effectively manage key accounts across the region.
• An aspiring, target driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic "do it now" attitude towards your work is essential.
