An "Outstanding" Ofsted-accredited secondary school based in Slough are currently searching for an enthuastic, dynamic and dedicated Technology teacher to join their outstanding technology department. NQT's are welcome to apply. They would be particularly interested in teachers with more than one Technology discipline.

Their Technology Department has a suite of dedicated teaching rooms that facilitate specialist teaching in all areas, as well as a dedicated ICT accomodation. Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Creative Media are currently offered for GCSE study.

As a member of the department it is a key requirement to be able to teach up to GCSE. You will be committed to ensuring pupils achieve and exceed their potential whilst developing a love for the study of Technology.

You will need to be a teacher who can:

* Assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, making policies and teaching strategies in the department
* Plan and prepare high quality lessons
* Teach pupils, according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupil in school and elsewhere
* Contribute to the whole school's planning activities
* Be a Form Tutor to an assigned group of pupils
* Assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of pupils and to keep such records as are required
* Commit to the running of extra curricular clubs
