Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer

Role Purpose
This is an opportunity to join a strong costs team and work alongside experienced draftsperson. The successful candidate will join a team of Law Costs Draftsperson/Costs Lawyers who work on behalf of both the paying and receiving party, dealing with a variety of cases from clinical negligence to commercial litigation.
Ideal candidates should have undertaken a similar role for a minimum of 2 years or more and be fully competent in costs law. The successful candidate will be preparing straightforward and complex Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute, Replies to Points of Dispute and Costs Budgets. The successful candidate will be dealing with all aspects of the detailed assessment process and all other duties where necessary. Ideally candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills.

Skills & Experience
You must be a Law Costs Draftsperson with a minimum of 2 years' experience gained within a similar role;
You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written across all levels;
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines;
You will be IT Literate;
You will be a pro-active team player with a meticulous eye for detail.
