We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head to work with a key contract with a partnership provider. The partnership arrangement includes managing full time study programmes and the delivery of technical certificates to apprenticeships in the field of engineering. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Head of Department for Engineering and Motor Vehicle and will have an engineering background with knowledge of BTEC and/or EAL certification. The role will be to manage staff and students on a day to day basis at the centre in Brighouse. In the first instance, there will be a heavy focus on improving quality of provision and sufficient time will be allocated to oversee this with a full commitment to managing the range of programmes. Over time, teaching duties will be expanded to cover up to 560 teaching hours a year in an engineering discipline.
