Water Services Technician

We are looking to recruit a Water Services Technician within our Water Hygiene & Environmental Services division in order to carry out pre-planned water management tasks such as temperature monitoring, water tank cleaning and chlorinations, TMV servicing and other water management related tasks and remedial works.

Duties of the role will include:

  • To attend client sites and conduct monthly water management tasks such monthly monitoring, TMV servicing, shower descales.
  • Complete on-site records and update online records accordingly 
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met on site
  • Actively feedback any new sales opportunities that may arise
  • To undertake other tasks, as required, to assist the team to deliver a high level of service to clients.

Previous experience as a water engineer would be ideal and basic plumbing knowledge and confidence in carrying out remedial works is required. Knowledge of operational water systems and how they work would also be advantageous with a valid driving licence essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs or equivalent (with English and Maths at C grade or above) and any other legionella-related exams or course attendances would of benefit. Organisation skills, a willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to work well alone and as part of a team are also essential. Likewise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required as is a strong customer service focus, a confident and professional manner and IT competency. Self-motivation, flexibility and reliability are also essential attributes for the successful candidate.

Please note that candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as this is required for the role.
