A vibrant and energetic Teaching Assistant required for a permanent contract starting January 2017 at an SEN school on the outskirts of Burgess Hill, West Sussex. This is a full time contract for a Teaching assistant interested in supporting and educating learners with Autism, Down syndrome, Behavioural Difficulties, MLD, SLD and other complex needs.   • Long term Teaching Assistant role (guaranteed until July 2017)

  • Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
  • Own Transport- Due to locality of the school
  • Eligibility to work in the UK


  • Supporting KS1- KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
