Graphic Designer Web Developer

Company:

WCM&A Ltd is an award winning UK trade manufacturer of corporate and promotional merchandise with a team of 60 at our factory in Herefordshire, 3 miles south of Bromyard on the main road to Hereford. Over 95% of company sales are from products that we print and manufacture ourselves, with an ongoing programme of high quality IT systems and product development.

Role:

An interesting and varied role working within our artwork and IT departments, including, but not exclusive to:

Graphic design work for the company’s promotional literature, display materials and websites

Producing high quality graphics for internal use and for our clients

Working with our artwork manager in preparing and supplying approved designs for final print

Editing and developing existing websites using Dreamweaver, Word Press & other packages and also potentially developing new websites for online purchasing

Online database and web ordering development

Candidate:

The successful candidate must have a proven web development and design background with preferably a practical understanding of printing. Training would be given on our own products and our print methods as the role requires helping to proof any of our client’s items as required by the artwork manager, showing particular attention to detail as most of these are personalised.

Must be competent in the use of the full Adobe Creative Suite. 

A wide range of our own literature, websites and display materials are produced in house, so the successful candidate would have both a real design flair and the technical knowledge to make a positive contribution to the company.

Experience of online database publishing and administration as we offer online ordering and stock control systems for our customers - our database is Filemaker based.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team, so should be able to work well with others, as well as being able to produce accurate high quality work, autonomously.
