Freelance Sales / Key Relationship builder
Bassline Productions is looking to contract 2 new experienced freelance event professionals with experience in sales, ready to help build new relationships with event and wedding organisers in London and the South West, ideally based on their own existing networks.
This role will be paid on a retainer basis at £100p/d, with a commission of 17% of gross profit on the first sale to a new client. After an initial 10 week contract at 3 days per week, continued work will be offered to those who hit targets.
These roles requires someone with an easy-going but forthright manner, able to understand and communicate the company's mission statements, and build relationships with event organisers to a point where Bassline’s directors are given the opportunity to meet the client and quote for an upcoming job.
Once hired, the candidate will be given a day of training in order to understand the ins and outs of our stock list as well as the services that we offer. They will be then given a list of around 100 organisations to target. They will be expected to contact them via email and phone, persevering in order to build relationships to a point where they are willing to ask for a quote from us for one of their upcoming events.
The role will require a proactive and motivated attitude to work in order to build a valuable contact database for Bassline.
Freelance Sales / Key Relationship builder Key experience:
- Experience in and understanding of the world of events, as well as previously existing relationships in the industry will be highly sort after and will be a major deciding factor in the interview process.
- Proven experience in sales.
- A track record of creating and implementing effective sales pipelines.
- Proven ability to create extensive reports and documentation of their work.
- An understanding of and respect for working to KPI’s
