Key Account / Customer Service Manager

A growing manufacturing organisation that CMD are supporting is seeking a Key Account Manager to look after one of the businesses major accounts along with the management of the customer service team.

Responsibilities that this role has to offer:

  • Managing customer demand through Account Manager to ensure the highest levels of customer service quality is achieved.
  • Regular customer meetings at both UK and customer site operations.
  • Create various reports to identify demand and performance levels.
  • Ensuring the whole process from order, through production and despatch, meets the customer’s required delivery date.
  • Participate in process improvement and the development of staff

Please note that due to the nature of the role and customers, you will be required to travel to France and North America. A driving license is essential due to the location of the head office which is on the boarded of Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire

This role would suit an individual who is passionate and determined to make a name for them. Someone who can forward think, plan ahead and keep in control while remaining highly organised and efficient.

We are seeking an applicant who can bring the following to the role:

  • Previous management experience within a customer service environment
  • A understanding of manufacturing processes from start to finish
  • Key Account management with a proven track record
  • Previous reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • While not essential French Speaking considered advantageous
