They now have two exciting opportunities for part time Lecturers in Architecture to join them where you will work primarily with students engaged across a range of courses, providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study. One role concentrates on Technology, and the other on History and Theory. Both are permanent positions for 7 hours per week.

As a Lecturer in Architecture, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning, ensuring stretch, challenge and engagement of students of all ages and abilities. Planning, preparing and updating all relevant teaching documentation including schemes of work and lesson plans, you will assess, monitor and record feedback to students to facilitate their best achievement using the College’s data systems and processes.

As the successful candidate, you will need to be innovative with your teaching methods. With a commitment to all stages of the student journey, you will be flexible, enthusiastic and have the ability to engage and inspire students.

Applicants will have previous experience of teaching architectural history/theory and/or architectural technology at first degree level. With qualification to Higher Degree in Architecture or a related subject you will have specialist knowledge in Theories of Architecture and either Architectural History or Sustainable design and technology.

For both positions you will be required to work one day per week with occasional extra attendance when needed.
