Our client is a successful manufacturing group. This group includes a market-leading laser-cutting company and an innovative industrial equipment supplier. 

These thriving businesses are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.  

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting the financial health of two companies. 

Specifically, you will join a small, cross-functional Finance Team delivering purchase and sales ledger and administration services to a number of operating divisions. 

You’ll deal with all elements of suppliers’ financial interactions from processing invoices to investigating invoice discrepancies, resolving supplier queries and dealing with supplier statements. 

Generating sales invoices, you’ll be checking pricing, forward invoices to customers and undertake credit control activities. 

Interested? If so, you should have previous accounts experience. Equally important is your attention to detail, thorough approach and ability to work in a structured and logical manner. 

Confident and communicative, as an Accounts Assistant, you’ll also need to be able to handle large volumes of work, operate in line with strict deadlines and build relationships both inside and outside the business. 

Previous experience of Pegasus Opera or Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be a distinct advantage.
