This UK based B2C and B2B multi-channel eCommerce company is owned by an international trade and investment group. The company was established 2010 to build on the groups expansion into the online consumer market. The group has extensive experience within product development and on the strength of this has opened branches and developed brands in America, Canada, France, Germany and Italy.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all products in line with customers/clients specifications and quantities are picked/packed and dispatched to meet with required Service Level Agreement standards.
- Ensure the handling of all products is carried out to the highest standards of Health and Safety, equally applying best practice to the protection and packaging of Customers/Client orders to sustain transition through Warehouses/Distribution Centers and Carrier Networks. Such packaging should meet with minimum standards for the packaging and wrapping presentation of consignments to Client's Customers.
- Ensure optimum levels of stock integrity and security are achieved through understanding of all processes and procedures of Warehouse Operations. Including the input of stock on to the company's system, creation of new locations for stock receipt, investigation and correction of discrepancies to avoid stock loss
- Ensure adequate supplies of consumable and packaging products are available in line to meet with all customer/client order dispatch requirements. Maintain accurate records of all receipt, issue, usage and holding of consumable packaging and materials.
- Through consultation with operations and planning be responsible for ensuring all areas of responsibility are staffed commensurate to the achievement of scheduled and planned tasks and peak volume associated activity in line with optimum service and cost efficiency.
- In conjunction with the Warehouse Manager conduct structured interviews against pr-defined personal specification and job description requirements.
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained against all activity as required under Site Operating Procedures
- Ensure all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training and operations of the company are conducted in line with both Company and Legislative Health and Safety Requirements.

Required qualifications/skills/education

- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing teams within a warehouse distribution and e-commerce fulfilment environment
- Knowledge of supply chain management and related fields
- Process oriented - an appreciation for specific client requirements
- People manager - Leads by example, encourages team spirit and can motivate a team
- Adaptable & responsive to change - ability to monitor workflow and move workforce accordingly.
- Enthusiasm, drive and a can do attitude
- Able to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
- Excellent numeric, literacy and organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of excel and other specialist stock tracking software
