ABOUT US The Food and Beverage division is an integral part of the Center Parcs experience ensuring all our guests are met with a wide offering of different cuisines and serving styles, employing around 350 staff in 8 different restaurants, cafes and bars. We're looking for someone with leadership, drive, passion and commitment, who will strive to deliver excellent service to our guests. This is a hands-on Management role, where you will play an integral part in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. As the Unit Manager you will help lead, motivate and develop the team, as well as the Assistant Managers. Unit teams vary between 15-45 F&B Assistants and 2-12 Chefs and Kitchen Support. You will be expected to train and coach working with our new starters and existing team members, oversee Recruitment, Legal training, understand stock controls and take ownership of cash control. You will be expected to look ahead at the business and deliver budgets and targets set. HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts - you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. You will be required to work shifts on a rota basis which will include weekends and some public/bank holidays. The earliest start time is 8am and the latest finish is around midnight. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Minimum 18 months experience in a premium or high volume restaurant operation as a Restaurant Manager, or a strong Deputy/Assistant Manager ready for your next challenge Highly motivated and committed to the success of the operation You will have a proven track record in managing and developing individuals and teams Have a passion for delivering great service to our guests every day, and strive to continuously evolve and enhance the operation Understand the importance of all aspects of legal compliance and experience in legal training (Manual Handling, COSHH, Health & Safety) You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal with and resolve guest issues The ability to work under pressure and 'think on your feet' Closing date: 25 October at 12 Noon
