As a member of the team you will be required to greet our guests, ensuring their requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional guest service in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner. Within this role your main duties will include: Ensuring you have full knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make recommendations and adapt to guest needs (including dietary/allergy requests Being able to communicate clearly with the Kitchen team Running food from the kitchen to tables for guests Confidently being able to interact with all types of guests, and react to their needs Clearing tables and taking dirty glasses/crockery to the kitchen to be washed Preparing the restaurant to set standards (Front of house and Back of house) You will also ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant/bar area is maintained to a high standard and ensure that all company and legal requirements are met at all times. As the face of Center Parcs you will make a great lasting impression and ensure that guests return to us over and over again. HOURS OF WORK We have contracts for 80 - 120 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. The restaurant is open 7 days a week and you will be required to work a range of shifts on a rota basis, shifts will fall between the hours of 8am and 11pm. You will also be required to work some weekends and public/bank holidays on a rota basis. ABOUT YOU Ideally you will already have experience of working within a hospitality outlet, preferably within food and beverage. Essential requirements: You should be enthusiastic, hardworking, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team The ability to communicate with people, be naturally cheerful and have the ability to perform under pressure.
