ABOUT US Our Retail Department play a key role in ensuring our guests stay is as enjoyable as possible and to assist us in that aim, we now seek motivated individuals to join our team. Our retail outlets include the Parc Market, which stocks over 2,500 lines and is where guests buy their daily groceries; Refresh, where snacks and drinks can be bought; Treats, for those with a sweet tooth and our Nature Centre Shop, which caters for gifts and wildlife products. Based in 'Treats', our village sweetshop, your duties will involve all aspects of retail from serving customers on the checkouts and handling payments to replenishing stock ensuring that all goods are attractively displayed. You will actively listen and look for opportunities to ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations. This is a fixed term contract for 3 months. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours as a minimum. Store opening hours are 9.30am until 7pm including weekends and bank holidays. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a guest facing role, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You will be confident taking ownership of guest queries or issues, ensuring that they are served in a friendly and efficient manner.
