This successful family business near Hertford now needs a professional and experienced HR Administrator to join the team.

Working closely with the business owners and the HR Manager, you will provide admin support for the day to day HR management of around 50 staff.

A professional approach & high standards of confidentiality are required. You will also need to hold and maintain a DBS check.

This is a full-time role of 40 hours across 5 days.

The role will include:

- Working with the HR Manager to maintain HR paperwork and tasks
- Scanning, filing and tracking documents
- Responding to staff queries and helping with recruitment, induction and organising training
- Checking and tracking timesheets, TOIL and other payroll paperwork
- Creation and amendments of documents in Word, Excel
- Supporting the owners with admin and ad hoc tasks

- Admin/Office experience essential - someone who can hit the ground running
- General administration experience, ideally within HR
- Confident with telephone work
- Attention to detail
- Good MS Word and Excel skills
- Experience of HR processes
- Ideally, experience of DBS process
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Responsible attitude
- Ability to work under own initiative and be creative
- Excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Confident with using I.T.
- Reliable and trustworthy
- A good sense of humour
- Organised and an excellent time keeper
