ABOUT US We are recruiting Bar and Waiting Team Members to work in the very popular fine dining Indian restaurant, Rajinda Pradesh. This restaurant is open every evening offering a wide range of contemporary, authentic Indian dishes which are made using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. ABOUT THE BENEFITS Annual profit share/management bonus Staff Reward Scheme Free use of leisure facilities Discounted Center Parcs breaks 20% discount in restaurant and retail outlets ABOUT THE ROLE Centre stage and front of house, our Bar and Waiting Team Members are at the heart of Village life, continually meeting and exceeding the expectations of the most discerning guests, day after day. From seating to serving, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities will include: Working a section of tables, being responsible for the welcome and service delivery, right through to the final goodbye Ensuring you have full knowledge of the menu to enable you to make recommendations, including offering information on wines or answering any dietary/allergy enquiries Interacting confidently with guests, reacting to their needs in a friendly and professional manner Communicating clearly with the Kitchen and the rest of the team, to ensure the needs of our guests are met Ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen area are maintained to a high standard, and all company and legal requirements are met at all times HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours per period. Shift start times will be between 12 Noon and 6pm and shift end times will be between 10pm and 2am. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Naturally helpful and self-motivated Great team player Excellent customer service skills Professional and friendly manner Ability to perform well under pressure Desirable requirements: Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally within Food and Beverage NVQ Level 2 in Food Service or equivalent qualification Closing date: 11 October 2016 at 12 Noon. 1 st Interviews to take place w/c 24 October 2016.
