Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join Beyond Limits, based in Plymouth.  Beyond Limits are committed to providing opportunities and choices by offering an individual, person-centred service and by maximising the use of existing community facilities and natural supports. 

Diane is a young, intelligent woman with a zest for life. She is a very sociable person and enjoys day’s out, car boot sales and short camping trips.  She is incredibly resourceful and enjoys learning new things. She is kind and caring and takes an interest in other people.

Diane has mental health needs and she requires her team to be flexible and calm and confident in a crisis. She needs support that is consistent and a team who will stick with her when she is testing their commitment to her.

Diane is looking for support workers to join her established and dedicated team. You will support Diane in her own home to build on her independence, provide her with emotional support and help her to explore fresh opportunities. She is hoping to gain employment in the future and develop new friends who have similar interests.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £15,450 per annum (pro-rata)

A DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Check will be requested in the event of the individual being offered a position with Beyond Limits, the cost of which will be to the employee, however, this will be returned after successful completion of probation period (6 months).
