ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

We are seeking to appoint an ICT Technician who will play a key role in the ICT Support Team,
supporting students and staff in this leading girls’ boarding school. You will be a team player
with a positive approach, excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude. You will have
good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, particularly Windows 7, good knowledge of
computer hardware, basic knowledge of networking and a logical approach to problem solving.
A full induction and ongoing support will be provided, along with the opportunity to develop
your skills with internal and external training courses.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week including every second Saturday morning during term-time.
35 hours per week during Wycombe Abbey School Holidays.

Duties will include:
• troubleshooting and resolving issues for desktops, laptops, iPads, projectors, and interactive whiteboards
• recording action taken via our Helpdesk system
• providing advice and support to staff and students on the use of teaching and administrative ICT systems, including Apple Mac
• maintenance of hardware and software
• administrative activities associated with control of ICT assets.

Salary: Starting from £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Other benefits: Lunch provided (term-time), ongoing training opportunities and use of our
Sports Centre.
