Support Worker Jobs in Hull area

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work with service users in the Hull area of Yorkshire who have learning disabilities. You will join the team as part of the Lincoln branch, and thus should be willing to travel to branch for an interview, induction and ongoing training.

This is an exciting and varied role working with individuals experiencing different challenges due to their learning disabilities. You will be an essential part of helping each service user to get the most of out their daily lives, promoting their independence and protecting their dignity. 

You will  form an integral part of the Newcross team, enriching lives with a conscientious and dedicated approach to personalised care.

In order to be considered for this Support Worker job you will need the following:

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in support worker role 
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.
  • Full driving license and access to a car highly desirable
  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months.
