Quantity Surveyor - Shopfitting 
Salary up to £40,000 to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Package

A respected shopfitting contractor based near Ringwood, Hampshire is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team. 
You will be joining a successful family owned and managed business delivering main-contracting services to the Retail, Commercial, and Leisure sectors. 
 
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has refurbishment or shopfititng experience that can be responsible for managing up to three projects at any onetime. 
 
Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: 
Take accountability for contract and pre-contract (where applicable) and post contract commercial functions and contract reporting to deliver agreed profit and mitigate risks. 
Deliver reporting obligation requirements for subcontract and main contract packages / CVR reporting to time frames / providing costs to complete. 
Maximise project cash / value by effective management of subcontract - positive cash profile. 
Manage and complete relevant subcontract and main contract contractual records including the production of rolling and final account information / variations management. 
Demonstrates understanding of client and consultant drivers - clarity on client expectation and requirements. 
Agree progress claims with the clients representative and invoice. 
Measurement and valuation of sub-contractors accounts. 
Attend pre-start meeting with project team. 
 
Quantity Surveyor Experience 
Commercial skills, maximising value recovery, cost control and cash management. 
Ability to use / understand financial reports and final accounts. 
Ability to form and develop relationships with PQS, design team and supply chain.
