Young People Cornwall - Heads Up Project Lead and Trainer - 18.5 hours per week, JNC 13 (£23,213 p/a pro rata)
Young People Cornwall are passionate about youth work and helping young people to realise their potential and ambitions. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding & dynamic team:
We are looking for someone to lead our Heads Up young people's mental health training and awareness-raising programme.
You will take a lead on developing and delivering our successful training programme to professionals, parents/carers and young people. You will also recruit, train and support a team of young volunteers to help develop this collaborative programme.
Ideally you will have a background in mental health, youth work, social care, education/training or similar.
This post will require rigorous reporting against a number of targets and outcomes and will require the successful applicant to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
For an application pack please see our website http://www.youngpeoplecornwall.org/about-us/ or email Chris Hart - chrish@ypc.org.uk.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Ellie Wright, Hear Our Voice Project Manager, 01872 222447.
Closing date: Friday 28th October, 5pm.
