UX Design Lead

UX Design Lead - Manchester - GBP45k

One of Manchester's top digital agencies is looking for a Design Lead to join their team, with equal focus on UX and visual design.

You will lead the end-to-end design process, making use of a range of methods, including field research, persuasion design, experience mapping, high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing to inform your thinking, while always working in partnership with clients and peers, and so explaining why these methods are suitable in each individual context. From here, you will continue to lead the design into production, ensuring the final solution is delivered in line with the original vision and to the highest standards of craft and utility.

You will be a natural leader and mentor, as your work will shape the final product, ensuring we make use of evidence and insights to underpin amazing solutions that work beautifully for their intended users.

You will be an experienced UX Designer, ideally with agency-side experience. You will be used to selecting, planning and performing appropriate user research, and testing activities. You will be able to test IA, taxonomies, navigation and key product journeys, while creating deliverables, such as personas, sitemaps, process flow diagrams, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes. You will be used to working with art directors to shape the visual and interaction layers, while also working closely with the front-end developers to ensure a homogenous end product.
