Salary: Starting salary GBP6,734, pro rata amount of GBP16,953 per annum (Band 7, point 24) incremental progression throughout the band is available

Hours per Week: 14.5 hours

We require a highly motivated individual to provide in-class support to learners with a variety of needs including support with difficulties/disabilities, Literacy, Numeracy and Language. You will also provide emotional support and encourage participation in the learning environment

As a Study Support Assistant you will support learners studying a wide range of vocational subjects and may be required to work across the college's different centres. You will work alongside classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

You will have an understanding of the issues facing young people with barriers to their learning, some previous experience in support and be able to demonstrate a good standard of English, Maths and IT.
