An opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager within the Bidfresh Group. Ideally you will be based in the Midlands and have experience in a similar role within the food services industry. Travel throughout our sites in the UK / Ireland is an essential requirement of this post.

Our regional depots are run by the best men and women in the business; fish mongers with the finest artisan skills and expertise.
As a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will provide advice and support to sites within the business and co-ordinate improvement projects for the training and implementation of Health and Safety and Environmental systems throughout the business.
An ideal Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree (Occupational Safety / Science discipline) desirable but not essential.
- Experience working in a SHE discipline.
- Effective communicator and trainer.
- Good Computer skills - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Self-starter, ability to take a project brief and execute.
- The role will require excellent organisational and people skills.
Initial support will be provided, with a view to undertaking a range of duties in the role, which will evolve over time, in order to develop robust, efficient systems and process in health and safety management.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £35,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
