Blackmagic Design's founders have had a long history in post-production editing and engineering. With extensive experiences in high-end telecine, film and post, harnessed with a real passion for perfection, Blackmagic set out to change the industry forever.

We are now looking to recruit an Import and Export Specialist to oversee the day-to-day importing, exporting and customs related activity across the business. The candidate will liaise with key personnel internally and externally to ensure customs, import and export compliance is met.

We are in the process of establishing a Customs Warehouse, which requires us to work closely with HMRC and a third party Customs Specialist. As part of the application process we are required to fulfil certain criteria such as documenting our import and export processes, and managing the physical establishment of the customs warehouse. The perfect Import and Export Specialist would be able to provide the third-party customs specialist with all of the required documentation and support to complete the application process, and then work with warehousing staff and office management to establish a fully operational customs warehouse.

In addition to the customs warehouse the Import and Export Specialist would be responsible for obtaining Binding Tariff agreements for all of our key product lines, and assist with shipment expertise when shipping outside of our regular regions. As an international business this would require the Import and Export Specialist to understand what the correct documents are when shipping into specific territories in and out of the EU.
