FP&A Restaurants Labour Finance Analyst We are currently recruiting for a FP&A Restaurants Labour Finance Analyst at our support centre based in Dunstable. This role will lead all aspects of financial analysis, control and reporting for Flo (our new forecasting & management tool). In the short term the key focus will be the rollout of Flo across all our sites, expected to allow sites to effectively deploy labour at the right time by role, throughout the day. This person will play a critical role owning the end to end labour control process from sales forecasting accuracy to reporting performance, where risks and opportunities should be identified. Labour is the Restaurant Business biggest cost line, c GBP135m. The key "Drivers" are; * The Flo Project team * Restaurant Exec (particularly, Restaurants National Ops Director) * Operations team (Restaurants National Ops Director, BOD's, Business Development Director) * FP&A team (Planning Manager, FP&A Manager Joint Sites, FP&A Analysts) The key responsibilities of the FP&A Restaurants Labour Finance Analyst are: * Support implementation and rollout of FloFinance SME of Flo, representing Finance requirements and own all analysis, fully understanding the impact of Flo to the sites labour cost (including reconciling the Flo tool output to the P&L) and associated benefits.Ensure full understanding of the impact of Flo to Labour operations and the labour cost impactEnsure Flo is based on valid data and is designed to be usable and efficient at operating sitesTesting of any Flo enhancements and outputsAnalyse labour deployment and work with Flo project group to identify opportunities for savingsWork with systems team to automate reporting for operations and support centre * Labour Budgeting & ForecastingOwner of labour modelling in the budgeting cycle for 17/18 and ensuring buy-in and understanding from operatorsOpportunities and risks identified in the rolling forecasts for Restaurants businessFlo weekly sales forecast & reporting owner * Labour Sales Forecasting & MIOwn and validate the weekly sales forecast via Flo and make central adjustments where necessary - understanding of key event and promotional impact to salesOwn and produce Labour reports on a weekly basis that provide insight and drive action to improve performanceBe key contact for Central Operations for any Labour related queries and ad hoc reporting * ReportingResponsible for Key events and team incentive reportingFinance support and business partnering on innovation and reporting as required We would love to hear from you if you have the following attributes; Essential:Graduate-calibre qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA).Use of Microsoft Office, included advanced Excel skills. Desirable:Good knowledge of the food and /or hospitality industry.Use of cube based reporting and analysis tools.Project Management - previous experience of being part of a project from scope/planning through to implementation and post appraisal.Industry Experience - Experience in fast paced customer facing industries, preferably in a multi-site operation.Knowledge of the new menu development process and relevant supporting systems.
