Senior Digital Marketing Manager

We are growing the P&O Cruises e-commerce offering so that we can provide a world class brand specific digital experience and are currently looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to help support the business.

As Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, forecasting, delivery and reporting of the entire online / web customer journey from customer's initial exposure to the brand through to booking their cruise. Responsible for leading the Digital Marketing conversation, you will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and will also liaise with senior stakeholders, including the Vice President of Marketing and Senior Vice President of P&O Cruises.

Key to the success of this Senior Digital Marketing Manager role is your ability to lead the team, closely planning and managing media across Paid Search (PPC), Organic Search (SEO), Affiliates, Lead Generation, online brand Display, online content distribution, native content, online direct response Display, Organic Social Media and Paid Social Media.

About You:

It is essential for the Senior Digital Marketing Manager that you have:

• The experience of managing marketing acquisition activity at a similar level of responsibility including Display, Paid Search (PPC) and Organic Search (SEO), Affiliate programmes and Social Media.
• Accomplished experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets.
• Evidence of developing relationships with the major digital media suppliers and digital partnerships.
• Strategic omnichannel media planning and ability to work closely with a wide-range of diverse marketing channels.
• Previous responsibility for meeting significant revenue targets and being held accountable for them.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to senior leaders.
• Team management experience.
• Strong commercial experience.
• Advanced experience of using web analytics, ideally Google Analytics.

You'll need to have strong commercial acumen, putting our guests at the heart of every decision. You'll naturally have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and will be considerate of other people's perspectives. Technically, you'll be able to analyse opinions and quickly form a decision based on sound judgement, whilst identifying trends / making recommendations based on insight. Key to your success will be your ability to identify new ways of doing things, and approach situations with an open mind, you'll be a strong, tenacious team player and you will approach change with a positive outlook, identifying the potential opportunities presented.
