Senior Web Development Executive (Web Developer)

We are growing the P&O Cruises e-commerce offering so that we can provide a world class brand specific digital experience and are currently looking for a Senior Web Development Executive to help support the business.

The P&O Cruises Digital team is responsible for driving and maintaining P&O Cruises digital presence across the entire customer journey, and in particular, is playing a central role in cost-effective marketing acquisition. The scope of the team's responsibilities includes managing the brand websites, other digital platforms and all elements of digital marketing, including social media, online display advertising, PPC, SEO, email marketing, affiliates, lead generation and more.

As Product Owner and Web Developer for the P&O Cruises website you will be responsible for delivering customer led, and cost effective solutions across all devices that incorporate your passion for the P&O Cruises brand and its values. As Senior Web Development Executive (Web Developer) you will be responsible for delivering a sustained programme of continuous improvements by managing strategic roadmaps and a tactical backlog for the website. Working collaboratively you will communication between in-house teams and supports the Senior Digital Delivery Manager in delivering larger-scale projects for our web offering that introduce step-changes online for the organisation.

About you:

We are looking for the following for the Senior Web Development Executive (Web Developer):

• Product Owner experience or experience of managing programme of web development
• Good understanding of UX best practice
• Good influencing skills and the ability to manage expectations
• Superb interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to take ownership and have a 'can do' attitude
• Enjoy working in a creative but technical environment
• Be a creative problem solver
• Be great at prioritisation and have the ability to focus on what's really important

Ideally, for the Senior Web Development Executive (Web Developer) you will have worked in travel and will have knowledge of content aimed at the over 50s market. Naturally you will have strong communication skills and will put our guest at the heart of everything that you do. Key to your success will be your ability to identify new ways of doing things, and approach situations with an open mind, you'll be a strong, tenacious team player and you will approach change with a positive outlook, identifying the potential opportunities presented.
