We have recently merged with Greenwich and Bexley Colleges to become London South East Colleges, making us the leading Further and Higher Education provider in South East London.

An experienced Sous Chef is required to support and run the commercial kitchens at our BR6 restaurant where we train the chefs of the future within our state of the art facilities. We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team which is led by a driven and experienced Executive Chef. We are a brand new business and this position offers an opportunity to grow with us as we are currently expanding with plenty of scope for development. We are a fairly new busy 50 cover Restaurant offering customers the opportunity to eat and drink in a relaxed and unique contemporary environment run entirely with students.

The ideal candidate will be at Sous Chef level with a minimum 4 star hotel background and rosette experience, hold professional chefs qualifications to level 3, a teaching qualification is not required for this post, however, support would be given for those candidates interested. Candidates must be flexible, willing and able to work evenings. To be successful in this role, you'll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire the chefs of the future. You'll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge.
