Northumberland College offers a wide range of apprenticeships in areas such as Construction, Engineering, Equine, Animal Care, Hair and Beauty, Hospitality and Horticulture. In addition we offer traineeships for younger learners in local settings in various areas of the North east
We require a dedicated and inspirational teacher who will motivate and engage students through high quality teaching. You must also be adaptable and flexible. You will be required to deliver teaching and learning in diverse settings across the region. At times apprenticeship delivery may be based in our centres at Ashington, Kirkley Hall, Berwick or Hexham but on other occasions you will provide training and support in the workplace for those who find it difficult to attend college. Deliver for traineeships will be based in various settings external to the college

Successful candidates will ideally hold a qualification in teaching Mathematics and English at level 5. However if you are the right candidate and hold a PGCE or Certificate in Education we will support you to gain these qualifications.
