This National asset and energy services Group requires an ICT Service Desk Operative to work as part of their central ICT team based in Romford.

Reporting to the Service Desk Supervisor you will provide 'first line' technical support to Group users, located across a number of sites. Candidates will be required to log and manage incoming calls through to resolution. The role is predominately office based but may from time to time require travelling to other company sites. You will be using ICT System continuously and the role will involve communication via telephone, one-to-one contact and email.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and understand the importance of providing outstanding customer service. Candidates are required to have high levels of concentration and work efficiently and professionally under pressure. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to make decisions while balancing the varying priorities of open calls.

Candidates are expected to have the aptitude to understand and work on computer hardware and software in varying configurations. To demonstrate a positive can do attitude at all times and drive the 'can do' attitude across the ICT Department.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- An Interest in ICT
- History of working in ICT (minimum 3 years experience)

- GCSE Grades A-C in Core Subjects

37.5 hours per week, 20 days holiday increasing with service, flexible benefits package.
