Nursery Nurse - Rothwell

Are you an experienced, enthusiastic Nursery Nurse looking for a full time position? Do you have recent experience of working with young children and looking for a new, dynamic and exciting nursery to further develop your childcare career?

A nursery in the Rothwell area of Leeds is looking to recruit a passionate level 3 Nursery Nurse on a full time permanent basis on shift patterns between 7.30am and 6.30pm across 4 days each week, to start as soon as possible. You must be confident in working with children of all ages but this particular role is in the baby room with children aged 6 to 12 months.


The main responsibilities for this role are:

To plan effective activities for children of all abilities
To observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on children's progress
To understand the roles of parents and carers in children's learning and demonstrate ability to liaise with parents and carers sensitively and effectively
To work independently as well as part of a team
To work creatively
To provide necessary personal care to children
To develop their knowledge through the evaluation of their own learning needs;
To organise, lead and motivate a team, and work well as part of it
To demonstrate very good numeracy and literacy skills


Minimum Requirements to apply for this role are at least a level 3 childcare qualification, recent experience, and an up to date DBS certificate.
