JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor / Distribution Depot Team Leader that has management skills within a logistics and distribution, stock management based environment.
Working as the Warehouse Supervisor / Distribution Depot Team Leader you will support the Company’s division across Cumbria.
Reporting to the Cluster Depot Manager, you will need to demonstrate a pro-active approach, a willingness to ‘own’ any customer enquiry and have a can-do attitude to problem solving.
As a successful candidate you will have experience of distribution, stock management, transport regulations and legislation. You will also be comfortable dealing with budget and financial responsibilities.
In addition, as the Warehouse Supervisor / Distribution Depot Team Leader you will need to have experience of leading and managing a team, building relationships with others, be able to keep calm under pressure, and maintain good communication channels with multiple stakeholders. Good IT skills are also essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Skills and experience required for the Warehouse Supervisor / Distribution Depot Team Leader:
- Previous management / team leading / supervisory based experience
- Experience working within a distribution / stock management environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a great team player
- Must be computer literate
You will also be self-motivated, well organised and have a flexible approach to the working hours, which will reflect the seasonal demands and therefore involve early starts and late finishes at various times.
