Our client is seeking Volunteers, Befrienders & Companions in Bristol and North Somerset (Bristol, Bristol City Centre, Clifton, Redland Long Ashton, Nailsea, Backwell, Portishead, Knowle, Hartclife, Bishopworth, Withywood and surrounding areas).

£8.00 - £10.00 per hour on weekdays, £11.00 per hour on weekends (double pay on bank holidays), plus mileage allowance and paid holiday. They currently have part time vacancies of 10 -20 hours per week including alternate weekends. 

An award winning provider our client specialises in a consistent, bespoke, quality companionship lead service to private clients in their own homes. With a minimum of one hour visits they believe this enables relationships to be central to the support they provide.

As a Volunteer, Befriender & Companion you will need to be available for our busy times which are:

·           Mornings and Lunchtimes (8am – 1pm) – help prepare meals & support with morning routine and errands/appointments.


·           Evenings (5pm – 10pm) – to help prepare meals & assist with bedtime routine.

·           Weekends but not every weekend (even if you are just free for an hour or two)

Even if you are only looking for a few hours a week they would love to hear from you. This position will involve supporting clients with everyday tasks and routines, activities in and around their home plus out and about in the community.

·           Being a driver is desirable but not essential - some of our clients need assistance with errands and appointments and going out into the community.
